IN WHISPERS

IN WHISPERS

In the whispers of malice, when shadows conspire,
And tongues weave their venom in envy’s dark fire,
If anyone speaks evil, let your actions reply—
Live with such grace that their words wither and die.
For truth is a beacon that pierces the night,
And a life well-lived turns falsehood to flight.
The measure of character, forged in the soul,
Lies not in bold claims or in words uncontrolled,
But in wisdom’s quiet art: knowing enough to discern
When to speak from the heart, and when silence to learn.
To know not to utter what wounds or deceives,
In restraint lies the strength that true honor achieves.
Take solace, dear traveler, in each dawn’s gentle light,
For you stand a bit taller than you did yesternight.
Wiser today than the shadows of yore,
With lessons etched deep in your spirit’s core.
The stumbles of past days are teachers unseen,
Building bridges of insight where doubts once had been.
When the rope frays and slips, at the edge of despair,
And the weight of the world pulls you into the air,
Tie a knot with your courage, grip tight and endure,
For the storm will subside, and your footing secure.
In the depths of the trial, let resilience ignite,
Hold on through the darkness, emerge into light.
Fret not for the morrow, if the sun will ascend,
For its rise is eternal, a faithful old friend.
Worry steals from the present, clouds joy with its veil,
So prepare your heart fully, let gratitude prevail.
Bask in the warmth that each new day bestows,
Embrace the horizon where possibility grows.
Thus live with intention, through trials and through grace,
A tapestry woven in time’s endless space.
For wisdom accumulates, like rivers to sea,
And in every challenge, your true self sets free.
Rise with the sunrise, unburdened and bold,
A poem of living, in stories untold.
