UNAFRAID
Unafraid
My wild clan’s missing a spark—
That’s me, untethered, gone astray.
I’m stranded in a sun-bleached sea,
Where waves once roared, now baked to clay.
I’m chasing a sharp-tongued muse,
A blaze of words to light my skies,
To dance through this dust-choked parade,
With colors bold enough to rise.
I dream in pulses, fevered ink,
Of a you that’s fierce, unbound, alive.
Each syllable I carve and sing
I paint with shades that twist and thrive.
But you’re still cloaked in faded tones,
Your hues too soft, too scared to mend.
This desert whispered promises—
Yet its glow grew dim, its truths pretend.
So wake up, the lesson’s started now,
Lift your head from that weary slump.
Grip your pen, flip the page, take aim—
Let your heart and mind jump.
Use the wisdom you’ve been taught,
Make a guess, unravel me.
There’s a keyhole at my soul’s front gate,
And you’ve whispered the code before.
I’ve seen your shadow at my door,
Lingering, unsure, wanting more.
I’ve got fire to share, reckless and true,
More than your doubts could ever earn.
With love this fierce, I’ll blaze right through—
Watch me lean into this turn.
Wake up, the lesson’s burning bright,
Lift your head from that weary slump.
Grip your pen, flip the page, take aim—
Let your heart and mind jump.
Use the wisdom you’ve been taught,
Make a guess, unravel me.
I’ve found a new tribe, a radiant kin,
Each one a flame that calls me home.
I’m woven tight in their lucky thread,
No matter where my feet may roam.
I’m learning to speak my truth out loud,
To love your heart—or let it be.
With or without you, I’ll stand proud,
The stars themselves will answer me.
So wake up, the lesson’s blazing now,
Lift your head from that weary slump.
Grip your pen, flip the page, take aim—
Let your heart and mind jump.
Use the wisdom you’ve been taught,
