A Light in the Wild

A Light in the Wild

Born beneath a springtime sky so wide,

A soul took flight where dreams reside.

With eyes like stars, she chased the dawn,

Through mountains high, on roads un-drawn.

Her laughter danced with canyon streams,

A canvas painted with her dreams.

The open plains, her boundless stage,

A story written on each page.

She sought the beauty few would find,

In desert sands, in hearts entwined.

A gentle voice, a fearless heart,

A spark that glowed where shadows part.

Though storms arose, her light held fast,

A fleeting gift, too bright to last.

Yet in her wake, the world awoke,

Through tears and time, her echo spoke.

Today, we mark the day she came,

A flame that bears no single name.

In every bloom, in every breeze,

Her spirit lives, her love at ease.

For those she touched, the call is clear,

To roam, to feel, to hold life dear.

A legacy of courage sown,

In wild places, she’s still known.
