Same irritation , same familiar,

unwarranted-agitation

(just a different dog in the backyard)

Sick and tired, of being

sick and tired

Of repeatedly having to relive

checkpoints of impasse.

Pointless, so it feels,

to brainstorm;

to problem-solve such a thing.

Time to lay out all the cards,

on the table, and put into motion

or substitutes,

we've come up with

for change.

Keeping up, my end of the bargain ;

stretching, bending, flexing,

my patience

Nerves, stretched,

to limits I am 

unaccustomed to

It is clear to me,

that I am the only one,

in this equation, of two,

following up;

following through.

So tired, exhausted,

from your apologies,

from your mouth moving

(lies).
