"TELLING EYES"

 "TELLING EYES"

Your eyes tell tales unspoken, doubts in the gaze,

Unveiling shadows, the discomfort it creates.

You peeking through my layers, a museum of me,

Exposing truths like pages from my diary.

Facades shedding, my raw verses laid bare,

You want sweetness, sincerity scattered like stardust in the air.

Falling from skyscraper heights, trusting my embrace,

But your brows raise, questioning, a skeptical face.

Mistrust sprouting, an obstacle in our path,

Faith in my love, shaken by the past.

Belief in invisible, monogamy questioned,

Our hearts tangled in contradiction’s section.

Your grunts, whispers of disbelief breathe,

Doubt rides the wind, rustling leaves.

Wanting to trust, yearning to see,

A love metaphor, a symphony in spree.

Monogamy, a word heavy with your suspicion,

Afternoons of passion met with apprehension.

I shower you in metaphors, sweet genuine lines,

But faith crumbles under invisible confines.

Mistrust sprouting, an obstacle in our path,

Faith in my love, shaken by the past.

Belief in invisible, monogamy questioned,

Our hearts tangled in contradiction’s section.
