All those years ago we had courage to show

Chasing pipe dreams with arms to let go

Never thinking twice never scared to be free

Living young and wild down by the sea

Older now wiser but still holding back

Won't skinny-dip in the Cumberland's track

Moonbows shining bright but strangers we fear

Keeping distance now keeping memories near

Oh chasing memories where did they go

Back when we were fearless and let our hearts show

Now we walk on eggshells afraid of the fall

Wiser yet losing it all

Those days we felt invincible pure

Running through life finding our cure

Brave enough to leap without a look

Now we’re reading caution’s heavy book

Aged with time we hesitate slow

Hiding away from the moonlit glow

Sharing less hiding more (oh)

What happened to the fire of before
