My oxygen;

my North Star,

that never travels

too far

(home to me)

Staying grounded,

with both feet

firmly planted on

the ground;

still reaching for the

stars.

Great pleasure,

in keeping "bad company",

at least in the moment;

immediate gratification

and the urgency

of now.

Each day passes the baton,

to the next,

concentrating on connect.

Inevitably, feeling like

I am chasing you

like like an addiction;

there is no subtle,

in my adoration of you,

and the intensity of

the totality

of your attention.

It is there,

that I shine

the brightest.
