MELTING
MELTING
The anger, the frustration,
that's been building,
for some time now,
is beginning to seep through every
pore of my skin;
visible to the naked eye.
It used to be that you were one of
the most even-keeled, normal,
balanced women I knew:
A perfect recipe, of poetry, and its passion;
words, and their consistency,
which seduced me so.
Somewhere, in the nebula,
of your galaxy, your universe,
you slowly began losing parts
of your soul;
so too, the bashful 2am smiles.
The waves, of the ocean,
with its high tides,
have washed away the shine
of your warmth, and aura;
melting away,
under the intensity of the summer sun.
